Thanks Tim.

I test fit the tail light fixtures. I wanted to see how they looked and get the approx placement. I had a bit of body damage on the right rear you can see in this pic.
108196

Attached the back panel and cut out the holes for the taillights.
108197

Got the wiring ran and tied up with zip ties.
108198

I had to attach the complete Stang Tail Light just to see how it will look. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. I'm so excited. I fixed the bit of body damage and it looks good. I need to have this trailer done in less than a month. So I will be kicking it into high gear from now on. The slacking off is at an end. Wish me luck!

I had a bit of a setback while putting on the lower curviest piece of skin. Doing it by myself I got some weird flexing which caused the piece to snap and get my liquid nails all over the place. So I decided to use my head instead to get the next top piece on. I used some cleats to hold in the edge of the first top skin. It seems to be working so far.
108576
I put in some screws to act like clamps while the bead of glue dries along the bottom edge.

108577
I used some lumber to allow the skin to bend using gravity. I want to let it bend slowly as not to have a repeat of the last incident.

108578
Slid in the cabinets and beginning to think that it is possible to get the thing done in three or four weeks.

Looks like you'll make it by deadline. It only needs to be roadworthy. All the rest is window dressing.

Good Point! Thanks. Close might be good enough for the Ocean Tears outing.

Ok, the skin is going on. This is the first piece or second really. The first one snapped. It was the small piece beneath the tail lights. I will trim off the overhang on each side once the glue dries.

I trimmed the skin overhang with my router and filled in the screw holes and any dings or nicks.

Thanks! My wife wants a Vardo as well. It would be fun to build one though. But I think this one is my last trailer build.

The red lines are every 6 inches. I worked with two 10 foot by 4 foot pieces of plywood. Nails were gently tapped in at the intersection of red and green lines.

The black lines are simply measurement lines. Notice the first nail was placed 2'-11 5/16"

Then I took a bendable piece of wood to follow the curves on the nails and bingo used a pencil to trace the profile.

Hi NightCap

Not sure if it's because I'm reading on a ipod, but i can only see the front end Would you be so kind as to post a pic showing the rear?

The whole picture is there. If you hold down on the picture and then select view picture you should be able to see the whole thing. You can also save the picture if that does not work and then view it from your gallery.
