that is looking really good.

Those two bodies look like they were meant to be fitted together like that.
As the rear axle is fairly well back, what sort of weight are you aiming to have on the hitch?
Boy that looks cold there, we never get any of that stuff around here. We are just starting to warm up it has been 24 here today but that is Celsius.

Thanks Frank
By the way we use Celsius here too! Today will be + 7 so the white stuff will be gone by the end of the day. But -9 on Saturday as a high.
Wish we were in NZ.
Where the wheels are sitting in the pictures is not where they will sit. Rear end is sitting on a couple of 4x4's just o move it around.
The wheels will be moved forward at least 8" to 10" from where you see them.
I have a set of 47 Pontiac Convertible rear fenders that are about 4" longer than the Chev fenders.
So I will match the rear to the body which will move the wheel well forward! Yes, every inch takes off tongue weight and that is important to me on this build

..... as Miss Piggy has 210 lbs of tongue weight, and I am not as young as I used to be ( so it is a bit of a grunt sometimes to move her around)
Thanks for following my build!
Hope to get it inside before winter really sets in!
