Took the camper out for its inaugural trip. Was not the trip I had hoped for but the trailer worked great. We left Friday at about 9:00 am with supply stops and travel we got to Grand Isle State park in south Louisiana around 2:30 pm. Got everything setup then had to drive 35 miles to a 24 hour care with what turns out to be something in my eye. The nurse at they urgent care wasn't sure if he had gotten it out and sent us to the emery you room to be sure. We finally got back to the trailer about 8:30. Saturday was mostly a rain out. Did get to fish for a few hours. Caught a couple of nice reds and a spec. Today we journeyed home with no problems. Camper performed well. Found a small leak at the bottom of the door that I need trace out.

Sorry to hear your first outing wasn't all wine and roses. But, there are so many more to look forward to! Could be worse?? It was -9 here this morning and camping season is over for us until late April. Happy Thanksgiving! Good Roads Brian & Sandi
