What did you use to waterproof the roof?
I am thinking about Grizzly Grip.

Michele wrote:Yes, I LOVE the hearts on the back. I also like the red but to be honest, I don't really care for the blue and white.Since your build was inspired by the original vardos, I assumed that you would be painting it with traditional colors and all of those wonderful gold scrolls. Many of the red ones are trimmed with a dark mustard yellow.....just a thought.
After seeing your build, I have become totally fascinated with vardos. I said I would never build another trailer but now I want to build my own gyspy caravan just so I can have fun painting it.

Thanks Michele for your thoughts on paint. I do agree. I have to remember it doesn't have to be finished, just towable and campable.

Yes, but there is danger in that! I've been camping in mine, and once I started that, it's been more difficult getting back on the details! (I'm back on it, but I'd rather be camping!).

I was just checking out the Manatee Springs camping thread and I see I still have 11 days to get the gypsy caravan finished......At least the "to do" list is getting a little shorter. It seems every day I am working on the trailer, more and more people just show up to see what's going on. That's always fun. I'll roll her out and take some pictures tomorrow.
