If you are coming in on I-70, cut off on 435 South to 71 Highway South,
stay on that all the way south to Little Rock, and then I-40 over to Memphis. That will bring you through Carthage, MO; which is about 15-20 minutes from our house. Call when you get close and Miriam and I will swing over and buy you a cup of coffee and swap a few lies.

Hijack off,

Would love to take you up on a cup of coffee, does it come with a tour of your trailer?

ps do not worry about hijacks, the whole point of the jelly belly is to get out and see the country and meet the people in it. A goal is also a motivator.

Ha typical men. Stop and stay the night in Branson or Carthage (Precious Moments park) and we will bring the TD out to camp too. Now if it is too cold we will start a big fire. We have had days in November with 30 degrees and a hearty wind. There are some TDers in the Lake of the ozarks and Springfield area. We just have to drag them out.. :R And I know we can talk Gary and Trudy out... Just let us know....... ;)

Oh yeah and the original Bass Pro shops is in Springfield......

sounds wonderful, as the time draws near we can plan a day.

Went out and removed the tape, well most of it.

This one is under the cloth so it will be a challenge to get. Do I wait for the resin to cure and sand it out, or do I just ignore it, and bury it?

Did that, it now has another layer of glass over it. Each side overlays the other, I did not end on the corner. It was easier to overlap. Pics to come later, seams the camera ate last nights. :x

I have looked at pics of both of your trailers and they are both beautiful trailers. So hearing my trailer is amazing from y'all makes me feel good, but I think your trailers are nicer.

Doug I would think ending them both on one line would create a week point. Seeing words of encourage from builders who build trailers, that I think belong in a exhibit somewhere behind glass (and famous), I am honored.

It is indeed.

Today I cut out the spot for a tag.

The sides are square with the counter, and I do not like it. Now I have to make it appear strait when you stand behind it. Ideas would be a blessing, and I would be most thankful.

del

ps I have a collection of many state tags (30+ states), and now I have an opportunity to show them off one at a time.

 Del, the only thing I can think of is most states will allow an offset of tags on trailers (think boat trailer always on 1 side) maybe you could move it to one side and keep the shape?

Del...I'm sure you thought of this...now just make up a cardboard template for the pieces of the license plate inset, and tape them together...see how it fits...then cut the pieces out of thin ply and glass/epoxy away, If you want to get it looking more to your liking...get a felt pen and start drawing lines and view from behind. Only one chance to cut it without a lot of extra work...I really like the depth to the recess you have, really a nice touch!!! Doug

The latch for the hatch will be tucked up in there, so it needs to be centered. :shhh: The latch is a secret.
