Congradulations to you both :applause: , I can tell by reading your posts that you two are made for each other. I think you'll have a long happy life together.
p.m. me your address so me and the wife can send you two a wedding gift, How about a set of doors for the grizz pod with your names and marriage date carved into them?

Hi Chuckles, lovely idea, but trust me, as JohnnyD and I have both found out, international postage is cripling.

I send a load of stuff to South Africa regularly, for my brother and other friends, as I love to share the bounty I have in life here in England, but often the postage is up to 2 x as much as the value of the contents.

I only have one door as well. So not sure what you mean, though it sounds great.

Cheers,

Rian

Moved the teardrop over to the new house we are still not moved into , over the weekend, also moved the 1956 Ford Anglia in there.
Since then we put my motorbike, another bike trailer, and box trailer and the Transit bus in there.
Now it looks pretty full.

Just to show how tight the trailer with the Anglia fit through the driveway up front, as well as the Grizz Pod......

Parked up and dry.

I echo this man's sentiments... and I'd like to add my heartfelt congratulations on your marriage to Nicola.

It's nice to see good things are happening!

 :P

Thanks all, it is indeed good at the moment, still waiting for the go ahead to move into the new house.

In the mean time, I got my biggest headache (size wise) sorted, how to move my shed over to the new house, 9 miles away.

My friend Brian came with his trailer and 4x4 and we loaded and took it over..... job done.

Looks like a prototype for a cabin style Camping trailer.

Hallo mate, just seen your comment, had not looked at the thread for quite some time.

Yep, got married, moved house and was made redundant from work, 14 years with the company, but I guess a US$ 1bn saving is worth more than loyalty etc.

Will take a while to get another job etc, but Nicola has started talking of me building another teardrop..... so watch this space.

Just saw your reply Steve, Thanks.

I have been so busy doing stuff at the new house the last 5 weeks, actually glad I have the time.

Will start actively looking for something in the new year.

Broke out a wall betweent he dining room and the previous owners office last night, going to start cleaning up, and plastering tomorrow.

Yesterday I received a big box in the post from Sun Valley , NEVADA.

Knowing it was from Johnny D, teardrop builder of infinite skill and ability, I decided to leave it on the kitchen table to let Nicola open it when she got home from work, as she likes to do stuff like that.

When she came in, it was like Christmas all over, fighting her way through the layers of sellotape, delivery notices, and international customs declarations.

First out , a lovely Christmassy shopping bag with a fold out, 3D card from Johnny and Terry, followed closely by 2 pairs of fluffy Christmas socks.........now next up I had to wait for Nicola to get one pair onto her little trotters, then we could continue. Miraculously, the fairy candle light holder they had sent, had survived the trip, putting a beaming smile on her face (she has a thing for candles and pretty holders)
Then she pulled a second bag out the box, peeped into it and gave me a look I have not seen before...... and proceeded to pull a load of stuff out one by one. The pic will show it all together.

Johnny and Terry, you guys are great !!!!

To take the time to get to know someone and know what makes them tick, takes a special person. To then go about collecting bits from all over, over time, that makes a HERO in our book. ( I know how good it feels to find something special for someone)

My parcel included two Sinclair Oil metal wall signs, WOW !!, various stickers, badges, including the eNVy sticker that will go on the rear of the trailer, and some others which will be hidden inside the trailer along with some real Nevada Silver flakes to protect them.
We had a good laugh about the John Deere stickers, as I have real John Deere baseball cap, which I am not allowed to wear (apparently makes me look even more like the "redneck" I already am) They will find a special place too.

The trailer has taken a real back seat since moving here, as there has been so much stuff to do, but better weather, New Year and hopefully a new job with a car should see it back on the road, or behind the Transit bus.
