You are really moving along in your build. You've updated a teardrop and will probably be finished with your from-the-ground-up rebuild before I get mine done.

CliffinGA wrote:Julie glad your starting on your rebuild but getting an OU fan to do it is worst than getting an Aggie to build it for you!!! They are cousins you know!! Next time look for a Red Raider or at the very least a Longhorn!!

Good luck!!

Hey, wait a minute. Mark and resemble that remark.

BTW, we're glad that they put the gig'em emoticon on the forum!

I love the big doors! It has made mine so easy to get me and stuff in and out of! The profile looks good! I hope to see some progress increasing!

This might be a good time to seal that end-grain on the plywood with some epoxy, so you don't have the delaminating problems you had on Jewelbox Version 1.0.

Just a thought.

As a n00b, I'd like to say that advice like this is part of why I've been browsing the build journals. I also like seeing all the clever personal touches various builders have added to their designs.

I'm still a few months from starting my build, but it's on my winter project list!

Yes, sealing is more than a personal touch, it is the difference between camping for two years and tearing it all down due to wood rot, or keeping it in use for many enjoyable years! I learned that lesson myself!

Bumpin' ..... a little stuff done but Kenny the builder had other issues this week and things will get going again soon .
I need a photo of an aluminum trailer with the jalouse type windows ... like my old ones that have two clear glass panes that crank out .
I'm guessing I'll be reusing those... unless you give me a better option .
Thanks

Julie

Julie,

Is this what you're looking for?

Found this one and although mine will be flat aluminum, and my doors are bigger and straight with only a curved top, these look like my same windows.

Thanks Aggie..... Now that I got this visual I think my old windows will look fine, and not have to spend $150 on new ones!
