Installed the front radius indoor skin

Using lots of pressure and some screws (through temporary 2x1) to pull it against the ribs.

Epoxy was applied to the ribs.

Spent some more time working on the inside skin.

Worked quite a lot on the electrical, making sure it's all good before I close it up.

Installed the insulation:

Have been working slowly lately, because i've been busy and it won't be ready useful spring anyway.

I've worked on the exterior skins - don't have much pictures as camera was missing at the time.

lack of pics, but I used straps and screwed 2x1 across while epoxy was setting.

Then I sanded all the edges and any not completely flush areas:

I sealed all screw holes and other gaps:

Then made some wheel well covers:

Next steps:
Build a door and then "paint" the exterior.

Update 3/10/11

Haven't updated this in a long while.

I didn't do too much during the winter as I was quite busy and it was just a bit too cold in the garage.

I've mostly worked on finishing the interior but also finished the exterior preps (ready to paint), built the door, mounted the wheel wells and worked on the battery box/platform.

I need to take some better pictures, but here a a few for now (with a lot of mess)

What's left (expected to be done in next few weeks)
- cpes / uniflex "paint" on the outside (was waiting on warmer temps)
- Mount door /window / fan / raindrips
- Mount lights / License plate
- Finish mounting battery box
- Finish hooking up water / hand pump faucet

Expected Maiden Voyage on March 23rd

3/11/11: I've worked on the bedding:

Kids mattresses are foam pads from Fred Meyers.
I bought some sealy sheets for cheap (employee price at outlet store) and made "cases" for them.

Image

For the grown-up mattresses I bought a Foam mattress from Ikea (SULTAN FLORVAG) and cut it to size (It's VERY comfy)
Image

It's already "wrapped" in a plush cover, so I reused that for making the case after cutting.
