I now have an appointment on august 13 to get the trailer inspected.

so far the total spent on the trailer is approximately $2,470.79 more than I expected, i still need to order $41 in trim pieces, and spend approx $100 to get it inspected and licensed

Looks like you have no shortage of license plates if the licensing turns out to be a problem. ;)

I admire those of you who kept track of exactly how much you spent on your builds. Though I initially promised the wife $500 or less, and I was writing all the expenses down, when I went over $500 on just stainless nuts, bolts, washers ($ hundreds $), powder-coated hinges and hardware ($5-8 each, x 20 + spares),new hubs, fenders, coupler, hangers, spacers, adapters, wheels, tires, and (hundreds more on) structural steel; I threw the list away. The wood, poly, paint, hadn't even been purchased at that time, and many parts were never used as the build had its own momentum going ( I have a 48x29 crank out window that I'll never use!). And the big ticket items, special tools, an A/C unit (and my never-ending adaptations of /to it), and windows, bedding etc.... And then there are the one of a kind touches that I always had in mind, that I was GOING TO MAKE WORK (damn the torpedoes!). Just like building my drag racing car, I conveniently forgot to add it all up. Sorta like burying my head in the sand, as long as I could finish it.

in Washington state in order to get a home made trailer licensed , i need to have receipts for everything. I also have to get it weighed for the inspection, so after the 13th I will know what the trailer weight is

I am very excited about my licensing inspection on Tuesday!!

I did the calculations on my water tank today , it is approximately 30 Gallons  that is a lot of water , just over 250lbs water weight alone. I will keep you posted when I get off of work Tuesday

Bummer that!! :NC I licensed my Kustom Klamshell yesterday here in Reno Nevada. $43.00 out the door. No weighing. Just inspected the lights, width, VIN #, and that was it... I guess that's one good thing about Nevada...
Anyway, that's a great trailer you built. You'll enjoy the heck out of it......once you get it out of the backyard.. :D
Nice job :applause: :applause:
