Yeah, those mounts are pretty straightforward, so even though there is potential for a cool idea from KC, will probably stick with this one in the end. I like this little trailer too because the fenders bolt into the sides and not through a bracket that puts two bolts on top, so I like that. (You obviously don't need to worry about that!
This 3.5 wide 4' long will be a 4x7 when I am done with it.
Actually I was worried about those bolts and that was why I wanted to lift my trailer up a little. But I pulled the trailer around for two days and there was no rubber from the tires on the bolts so what I decided to do was take the wheels off and I ground the bolt and nut down a bit so they did not extend down so far. I feel pretty comfortable that they will not bottom out. But yeah it seems like an unneccessary design flaw with those bolts sticking down like that.
