Howdy all,

Well, we've had our first :snow

So, the wife kicked me out of the garage...I guess I'm on hold until Spring. :(

But that's OK, it'll give me a chance to save up some :money:

I will still work on ideas for the galley and nifty attachments though. The mind never stops. :scratchthinking:

I'll be checking in from time to time.

Ok,

Weather is still an issue. Cold. Kinda lost me drive for a while. Puttering here and there on nicer days, but few and far betwixt.

Hey Howdy All,

Finally back at it, though it's tough getting motivated with the weather we have had lately. I mean, SNOW ??... on Memorial Day Weekend ??!! And 4 days later... it's 80 and humid. Can't win. Anyway, progress is being made...slow but sure.

Updates to continue.

Alrighty then,

Not completely finished, but, I think it's camp able! :D Trying to figure out how to secure my hatch :scratchthinking: ...going down the road, it wants to lift open. Just might resort to a garage door handle.

I would also like to design a tongue box but, that might have to wait. Thinking of something that slopes to the front as well as both sides. That's a lot of geometry, not to mention angled cuts. I think the aerodynamic benefits might be worth it though.

Waiting for a decent day to take some pics :pictures: , the weather is not co-operating. :rainy:

Till next time,
LeatheRick

Rick,

You know we're waiting on the pics! Once you've camped, you'll realize the build journey was worth all of the effort and you'll have a sense of pride like nothing else.

Take care,
Tom

TA-DAAAA...

Ok everybody, here she is !! Like I said earlier... not entirely done but, I'm gonna call it good enough to sleep in.

Let's see if I remember how to post pics.

Well... now I don't know if it's me, or the computer. I HAVE pics...just can't seem to get them on here. New puter...don't know if I like this Windows 8. I'll keep trying.

Ok, it's official. I do not like Windows 8. I have pics but, I can't post them because they are too big. I had a program on the old puter that would resize them but, I don't remember where I got it. gggrrr... :frustrated:

Yeah...just ggrrr.

Ok KC ... I'll give that a shot.

Well, look at that... THANK YOU SIR !!

That's all I have for now. I added a tongue box today. What a pain in the arse, but, A necessary evil.

I tested her out Friday night, in the front yard. Slept pretty good except for the pillow the wife gave me. I'll have to get a different one.

I will make a couple of changes, but, I think I'm good to go for now. I am thinking about some Wiley Windows... need more research. I also have plans for a self contained canopy.

Ok, I'm beat... till next time,

Finishing up nicely. Finally got my tongue box done, varnished the galley, fixed my sticky door and made some wheel chocks  . Now I need some supports for a privacy curtain.

Our Renaissance Faire starts on July 6TH... I think I'm ready. Hopefully, I can get a site in the shade, so I won't have to worry about a tarp or anything yet.

If anyone knows of a good set of instructions for Wiley Windows, please let me know. All I can find on here is kinda vague, and one good pic. I understand the concept... just want to make sure I don't mess it up....too many times.

Till we meet again,

Happy Trails
