It looks really sweet. The picture of it just outside the shop looks like a scale model. Once the epoxy cure, it shouldn't be a problem, unless it softens up in extreme heat. Definitely hope you two can get some good use out of it.

Who knows it might of been a combinations of things that set her reaction off. The outgassing of the products in the camper along with the camping outdoors and even nerves / tension / stress / the release of stress from the project being almost finished. You body does some strange things.

I was hospitalized 7 times in 2 years due to breaking out of huge hives all over my body, all over stress from a new Air force Unit I was in. When the Unit disbanded the problems left. There was 7 documented medically cases directly link to that units working problems issues.

Hey Dangerz,

The trailer build is amazing! It looks to have a "HUGE" amount of space in a very small volume. Glad I came across this thread again.

Is there any update on Jen's condition? Has she been able to be near the camper again since the tailgate party?

Yeah any update on the allergic reaction? Figure out what caused it?

wow.
sorry all... didn't realize how long it had been since i made updates.

Jen is just fine...still no idea whether the reaction was to the wet epoxy or something completely unrelated to the build.
Regardless, she's had no issues since and we got a great few seasons of camping out of our trailer between tailgating at football games and camping around the PNW. It definitely attracts a LOT of attention wherever we go!!

Sadly, we are planning to sell the teardrop as our VW campervan will be our primary mode of transportation moving forward and we cant afford/justify keeping the mini. Although...after getting use to all the space in the teardrop i'll likely have to do a complete remodel. :NC

If you happen to know of anyone out there interested in a one of a kind bamboo teardrop...send them our way.
