Maybe there is an etching in the corner of the glass that might indicate whether it is tempered or not.

It would not surprise me if the display model has tempered glass due to the potential liability of breakage from customers handling it.

No etching. I think that it is plate.

I still haven't purchased the battery, but it's time to make sure everything works before putting the next layer of roof on. My neighbors battery charger worked perfect for my test. All systems are go!

Ok so I've been doing a lot of little things. Latches, curtain rods, battery box, etc. Are all going in but it's time for the maiden voyage this weekend. I want to go back amd add some trim inside the windows and touch up paint, etc. For now though she is ready to hit the road.

Of course as any teardrop builder knows the "you are doing what?" Has now been replaced with "oooh" "aaah" and "cooool!"
