Its ready enough to tow and sleep in, which it has too be ready for it's first trip on Friday. The whole plan was to take it to a large British car show called Brits At The Beach. Its one of the best surf beaches in New Zealand about 170 miles away from me. Im still trying to buy a double mattress, at the right price, so might be on a single bed. Going by myself as the family had another tripped book to Wellington.

Dug out my towbar (hitch) from its hiding place, sanded and painted, fitted. Had to do the wiring for the car connection too. Trailer lights worked first time. With the kitchen, im going to build removeable shelving. Somethging so that if I change pots or pans or a different layout is needed, a new one can be fitted without damage. Saw a good idea on facebook today of a tear with a large magnetic knife holder fitted. Would be good for other things like salad tongs etc.

Theres a few bits to be done that are cosmetic only. I have a wood filler stain mark near a screw head that really bugs me. Should have being more careful.

Will sleep in it Monday night to see if its OK. Thats after a hose test for leaks.

Cheers
Jeff

That is looking really good Jeff :applause:
I would like to say that we will see you there, but will have to make it next year. Then again if the forecast is looking better later in the week and I can get through all my work load we may have a last minute re-think. Otherwise have a really good trip, and may the Ford be with you.
Cheers Frank.

Hi Jeff,
Long time no see. Happy new year to you all.
How are things progressing on the TD? Have you been out using it?
We are off thursday to Hihi for the weekend and car show at Taipa next saturday.
