Boy you and I are like working side by side. I had to rebuild my door because the window I put in it was wider than the one that was there in the first place. Then had to build a screen door because all I had was the hinge brackets for it but no s.d. At least I didn't have to rebuild the front. Just the rear and some flooring behind the wheel wells. About your bed. Are you going with a standard mattress or a custom size? I'm going to build a permanent bed and I think I'm going to have to have the mattress made special. Oh, and I have had some good help with the outside. It was a good price, didn't have to buy any plane tickets.

counter tp and backsplash

Postby mvperini » Sat Sep 11, 2010 8:23 pm

Trying to come up with the right material for our counter top and blacksplash. wanted to go with cracked ice but then found out what they wanted for one sheet  went to the neighborhood flooring store to look at our options, when i told him i was restoring a vintage trailer he said he might have somthing in the back. found a piece of Marmoleum color [Bleecker street]
Image

the piece was 56 inches by 8 foot would 30 dollars be ok 8)

i have also removed the dinette set and have almost finished sanding and filling all the holes will be finishing the wood work inside the trailer this week and installing the new dinette set also will be having the seats redone in dark brown leather

Image

Almost forgot when we were at the flooring store the guy told us about a small recycle place for houses will be going to this place every weekend
found the perfect light for the front cabinet 6 bucks
Image

The outside is almost done installed most of the aluminum trim back on the trailer

Hey Mike,

I need to get my driveway pavement widened first so I have somewhere to put it! My neighbor and I want the same thing which would join our driveways since we both need extra space so we are going to split the cost. I finally got a promotion so a little extra $$$ is coming in so it is on the list, but I also just bought a new project car so I want to get it running too, but luckily it doesn't need much and I just picked up and engine and tranny for it a couple days ago for it, so things are progressing forward quickly on it, but it will be a couple months, once the temps cool down I will be rockin.

Not to hijack your thread I posted this in another thread under New Tow Vehicle, but this is the car I snagged for $400 (I was looking specifically for this model), but the next project after that is definitely the standy~ ;)
