Tube of silicone says it may take up to 7 days to dry. Which is no biggie because I am going on a motorcycle trip for a week next week anyway.

Better pics of almost finished trailer:

Profile and holes cut. I still need to cut the notch for the hatch, which I will do later today.

The silicone dried up faster than I thought it would. So today, I cut the notch for the hatch on the walls. Then laid down epoxy, then bed liner on the bottom.

I also I put the bed liner on the bottom of the floor. So I am going to let everything cure for the night. And in the morning, I'll place everything on the trailer, and start on the cabinets.

Sorry for the lack of updates over the last couple of days. But the camper shell is done. Wiring is done. And I am working on the cabinets, and hatch tomorrow. Should have the A/C in too. I am waiting on tan bed liner and more epoxy to come it before she will be done. Other than that, the galley is all I have left.

I'll be 99% done other than waiting on bed liner to come in to coat the outside, and she'll be finished.

Hey 225 your trailer is coming along, looking good. A quick question, I see you installed your door did you use weather stripping on the inside trim. Also what did you use for outside door seal..

The door has a rubber gasket on the outside. Though, it's not that great of one. I am planning on mounting the door with the trim ring, then using that black RV sealant and going around the edge with.

Thanks 225, I am using butyl tape under the windows/door outside. I have the same door with the rubber gasket but have read butyl tape also is the way to go. I will also do a bead of sealant when all is done.Cheers

I have done some of the cabinets, and worked on the hatch. Not real happy with the hatch. Gonna redo it.

The hatch can be a beast. I knew that the hatch was going to be time consuming and precise. So take your time with it and good luck..your moving right along.

I like the way the AC fits in the galley like that. Are you sure you wanna leave the hatch open in order to run it? Maybe you could put a small door right behind the AC built into the hatch so you can close the hatch and open the door. Sorry, I tend to complicate things.

I was wondering about the ac having to have the rear hatch open as well.it would work great to put a vented panel right there too so you can keep it closed if you wanted too.just throwing it out there.its looking great man keep it up.

I know you got your hatch mostly built but what about something like this. Small door on AC side, bigger
door on the Left side. The left door is also a table support like the Sunhopper build. I'm thinking about this
style door so I can just access my cooler without opening the whole hatch.

check out the Sunhopper back doors/tables
page 5 had the pictures fourth post down.
