Weekend 13

Towed it from the mother-in-law's garage 2.5 hours to where I stay. Bounced it really good a couple of times on the way and nothing fell apart!

Here we are on Route 66!

The DMV where I live has a protocol for completely homebuilt trailers, which we didn't qualify for on account of having a VIN on the NT frame. They ended up just processing us as though we had purchased the completed trailer (but they only charged us taxes based on the frame price!)

Anyways, after being handed a packet of forms and requirements for a specially constructed vehicle (including steering wheel nad muffler) on the first visit, I called the office at the state capitol and spoke with the person in charge of the homebuilt trailer program. After the second DMV vistit, I walked out with a recreational trailer plate in hand - we are legal and ready to roll!
