It does not hit the body now when you open the door. After I adjust the door I feel a dance coming, Mary you ready? Brick, Kerry, and Auntie M thank you.

Being the hinge is made of 1" square tubing, I think your tank door would break it, or at least bend it.
Today I skinned the top of the hatch, took two pics (did not turn out). Finished installing the homemade washers on the body bolts. Tried to adjust the door hinge, but got plenty of practice with my swearing instead.

You have to practice your swearing?

I find it is rather natural for me, kind f like eating and sleeping. :R

Don't want to put any pressure on you, but December 1st is only a little over 3 weeks away. And I seem to remember that you needed one week travel time................. But no pressure.

That's an awfully small hinge support area... might be tough to align and keep aligned... More hinges ???
There’s no place like Foam !

Because of the curve, if I use a wider hinge it has to get bigger.

Been a busy day, started by sanding the hatch into shape.
Image
I continued sanding the body till my arms turned to mush. Sealed the galley counter. Got the door to shut.
Image
Continued to insulate the floor.
Image
And finished the day by mounting the latch in the door.
Image
I am glad today was not yesterday, I feel like I accomplished something today.

I like warm weather, hate cold weather, when it gets below 20c (70f), Florida and me are a good combo (Arther does not scream so loud.
