Will get pictures up soon.

Is it soon yet? :)

We're ordering trim so hopefully!!

Kids have retreat this weekend and we're involved in the leadership so we've been busy with that these past couple of weeks. We're hoping to get out there and *Git R Done* more in the next few weeks. I'll get some pictures tomorrow.

Thanks for asking!!! Soon!!

Your tear is just beautiful. Don't sweat the pace. It seems as though you work for hours and don't see any real progress and then everything comes together and It is done. I'm the desert first kind of person so I got mine weather proof and camped, but now I have all of the interior finish to take care of and to fix the cosmetic mistakes on the exterior. I have more to look forward to, and I got to go camping.

As Michael Card's song puts it, "there is a joy in the journey..." so share a smile and enjoy the build.

Thanks Tim!
We are surely enjoying the build but have to keep reminding ourselves how long we will have this thing and not how long it's taking. It's been a year now of working only in our free time, which isn't much so I guess it's all good.
I saw your pics of your first trip. Fun Fun Fun!!! Sorry it rained but at least you got to see if she's leak proof. :)
I told you the kids would get into it. They'll remember these times forever and that they had a part in it. ;)

Now that we're almost finished we need to get ourselves off all these commities and other obligations so that we can actually get away. lol I'm gonna start saying NO to people now!!!

Thanks for the updated pictures, your tear is awesome.

I really like your galley layout that looks VERY functional, those big drawers are great.

Sorry if you've mentioned it elsewhere and I've overlooked it, are you planning for a woodie finished roof too?

Thanks Burke!

We're planning on putting on a two part epoxy rubber roof (white) It's an industrial grade material that seals itself. My husband knows more about it than I do.

+1 on the overall awesome design and galley layout. I will "borrow" the large drawer design if/when I ever get to that part of my build.

Great Teardrop design; nice galley set-up; and, you're doing great on your build. What more could anybody want!?

Keep up the good work! You're cookin' and it won't be too long until you'll actually be cookin' in that galley!

Thanks everyone!

About the galley, we need something to hold stuff onto the shelves. I had an idea... We have a neighbor who does iron work so I want to draw up a plan and get in touch with him to see if he could make some kind of bar/something. Anyone have any ideas? I don't want it to be real busy and I want it to be functional on the very top shelf and the second shelf. Also the price is gonna be a factor. Anyhoo, we're not there yet so I have some time.

The RedTrailer trailer is a funny story...we couldn't find the trailer we wanted (searched for months) then found redtrailer and realized it was right up the road from us. Picked it up and started our build. :o)

BTW: that sticker/decal is coming off ~SOON!~ I'd rather have this forum's address there if anything. RedTrailer wasn't much help to us. (we had some problems as they were in the middle of a crazy move at the time)

Aw man,you just burst my bubble. I thought I might be starting a trend or some such. See evidence below:

Should be here within the next two weeks!!

Terry & Sue,

Great looking build. I just have one question. What are you going to do with all that space in the front, under the lower shelf? How do you get access to that space?

Mike...

Thanks Mike,

That shelf is like a toybox lid and lifts up. Our electrical mess is in there and also a bunch of space to store stuff we don't use often. Our fold up chairs and other junk will fit great in there for travel.
Image

Hope that explains it.

We put the very last coat of CPES on the outside today ready for varnish tomorrow. Doors are dry fitted and so is the hatch...I'll get pics up soon.
