So it's really a doghouse

starleen has an interesting idea on bolting it down. I don't know what else is going to be located in the top portion besides the air conditioner.

Starleen I'll have to give that some thought. I'd still like to be able to put stuff in the bottom and it's so big I could put all my DO stuff in there. I wasn't planning on putting doors in the sides till latter.

Nathan it's main function is to lower the front of the trailer down below the tailgate of the truck but it's so huge it could be almost anything. If I cut a hole into the trailer a kid could sleep in there.

Well it's been almost a month and I have been working on the trailer sorry I haven't gotten more pics posted.

He got his first trip out in the sun shine so I could get some pics from a distance.

here is the front view

here is the side

Here is the back

I pulled him outside so I could turn it around and back it in so I could get the hatch put on

Here he is with his hatch on and up.

Now I have some work to do on the side and the hatch comes off to put the cloth on.

I'll have to echo that - looks great! I've been wondering what's been happening but figured you were busy working on it.

Thanks guys I'm not sure about Crawford but hopefully I'll at least have the outside done by LCG. Don't know if I'll have all the cabinets in but at least have it campable.

I think by the time you get this finished - we'll see a lot of WW type campers out there - what is that white dusting on the sides - sanded Epoxy?

You guessed it Starleen it's epoxy mixed with glass bead powder. It's a pain to mix in the powder but it makes a pretty easy to sand filler.

I took advantage of the long weekend and got the swing up wall and door roughed in .

Here is the wall it is hinged at the top and swings back when the hatch is closed.
Image

Here is the door
Image

Here it is opened
Image

Now I have to take it all apart and start sealing and finishing the out side.
