Postby mvperini » Mon Sep 13, 2010 8:10 am

Norm
Decided to complete the restoration on the cardinal before winter set in this trailer had some leakage problems compared to the boles aero and when this one is completed will start working on the boles aero for a winter project. I already have the birch paneling will be looking for other supplies this fall.

let there be light

Postby mvperini » Fri Sep 24, 2010 9:25 pm

Anybody that has restored a old trailer knows about the wiring and the fuse that they used :shock: , well let there be light :D
Image

after installing a new fuse box and wiring and all new lights we will be able to run modern toys, tv, heater, fridge with out fear of the trailer burning down.

regards Mike

no work

Postby mvperini » Fri Sep 24, 2010 9:41 pm

Looks like no work on the trailer this weekend, the wife won a free weekend getaway in Bend, or. looks like shopping and more shopping. but the work does not stop on the trailer, i found out that my new neighbor does upholstery work , so she will be building new dinnette seats and new curtains and Marti from Chico is making me a new awning for the trailer color to match the chevy. Me i will be having a beer while the wife shops

Mike....it just looks great!!! There is nothing better than the soft glow of that wood with a regular incandescent light for a vintage appearance and look. You've really done a great job on it. So, I'm thinking....bring it down to the Dam? I keep looking, but not finding anything to do a resto on. Doug

That red Marmoleum is pretty. I'm with Doug on the look inside your trailer. It looks warm and welcoming already!
