Though it has served well, I think I will retire and resue the old girl and rebuild something like what you have here! I really like your build and it has been my remodel~inspiration! Any idea on the final weight or cost?

Thank you very much. I am honored. I have not taken the trailer in to be weighed. I am very curious myself about the weight. As it is I am only wildly guessing, I have a feeling it is about 1,000 lbs.. As far as the cost it is about $2,000 in total materials. I was very frugal in buying repurposed items and low cost items. As far as the dollar cost to man hours it is insanely expensive. Way to many hours into it. Still its finished.

+1, and pull it across a scale while you're out there on the road camping.

Then find a wifi hotspot and upload the result here so we can see. :D

I was planned to be out yesterday for the dry run but it has been 100 degrees and humid so it is going to have to wait a little.

My 6 dollar bathroom ventilation system. battery posered two speed flip fan, that is zip tied to the vent pipe. Flips open over the screened portal and flips closed away from the opening. Two D cells should last pretty long too.

I could not convince my Wife to do a local test run so I fifured I would sleep in the trailer myself over night in the driveway. I spent the entire evening here. I am in it now.

I used the toilet and have used the shower this evening and I must say, while very cramped, the shower performed wonderfully. Also no bad smells from the toilet. I think the vent stack I made works perfectly whicking away smells.

ps. I have free internet connection here in the driveway too. :)

Sounds like we either have two unreasonable women or two foolish men. I am not sure which it is but I bet which ever one I pick I am wrong. :?

Well I finally convinced my Wife to go on a short trip. We traveled 200 miles to the beach. Stayed at a KOA so that amenities were adequate. Arrived late after dark so the first set up was a bit hard. My concerns about the AC unit being noisey were true. Since it was hot and humid the air needed to be run all night and it made it a little hard to sleep for us. The trailer itself was easy to pull and presented no problems at all on the road. We drove through a rain storm on the way down and no water what so ever came into the trailer and it rained at night a little after we set up camp and again no rain came in, so that was good. Over all I would say the trailer worked as planned but I think a remotely place AC unit would be nicer. Shower and toilet worked fine. Plenty of hot water for a quick shower. Shower was very cramped for me to use as expected. Even so it worked. Gas mileage was virtually unaffected by pulling the trailer.

On edit: it was the KOA campground

It was a hastily cobbled together trip. I brought bacon eggs and no fryingpan. I brought a cable and no television. I brought my laptop and the camera cable for download and no camera. :? My Wife may have snapped a photo with her camera.
