I have been a bad forum member....Sorry!

"Scraps" is finally started. After being a member and reading since Feb 2010, I finally started to make some saw dust. The bad part is I have not posted anything yet. So this is my official apology and build journal. I actually started about 16 weeks ago. I only work on it on Saturdays and skipped a couple at that. So far I have 14 saturdays and Memorial Monday. :)

I will post the pics as soon as I get them resized and uploaded.
PROMISE!

Built the trailer on 5/30/10 then it sat and turned from red to pink. (glad it did it before the build) I would hate to have an pink and aluminum teardrop.

I bet your flasher is worn out on your camera.
I guess now you're officially redeemed.
Did you float your aluminum skin or did you glue it on?
Looks great!!!

I really didn't plan on putting them all up at once. I started to a couple of times but got bogged down when having to convert them and upload them....

Yes that is flooring. I had thought of this and then saw it in a thread and it convinced me to do it. My wife and I are both happy with the way it looks.

I left about 1/4" overhang on each side of the hatch. I plan on using the insert trim on the outside and a flat "scrap" piece of the aluminum on the inside part of the 1/8" luan ply. The 1/8" luan was slightly damaged at a bottom and top corner. I wanted to strengthen this up a bit. Could I just use resin and brush it on both side of the luan? Or should I use some glass mat also. I have never done fiberglass but seem pretty simple especially since it doesn't have to look nice cause it will be covered. Or do you guys have a better idea?

Thanks to everyone for the kind words . I saw the round port hole windows on at least two others in the Hall of fame pics and we loved the way they looked, so I incorporated them into the build. Also not mentioned with the pics is I tested the A/C. It went from 94 to 68 deg and humidity went from 67 to 46 in a little over 1/2 hour. This was with plastic bag taped over the door and window opening. The vents in the floor worked well in that the unit did not freeze and took the humidity out of the air. I am still going install a diverter to send the hot air straight back and away from the intake cooler air.
