Today started with a 9' length of 2x2x1/8" tubing. I cut this down to 80" and re-painted the cut end. I inserted it into the inverted HF coupler piece and, well, I needed a sledge hammer to slide it through! The extension was checked for square and bolted in with grade 5 bolts.
Here the floor is built. The perimeter is 3/4" stock and the cross members are 7/8" so the floor will be flat when bolted down
Yes, I love Henry's emulsion!
Done for the day after securing the floor to the trailer with 24 galvanized 3/8" recessed carriage bolts.
Tomorrow the 4x9 sidewalls will be fabricated with the good side out.
