Steve,

When you post, you don't mess around. Your first post took me about 2 years to get to that stage. Great job! I really like the trunk and think that will be icing on the cake for your design.

Take care,
Tom

As it's freaking cold this morning and the weather guy is all over the map as to whether it's going to rain or snow my plan is to be in the shop.
I really need to clean the shop up and get some heat in there.
I had a nice little dream, yes I dream about my C.S build and I came up with an idea for cupboard doors for the inside.
There's going to be a bunch of pics posted @ some point today :FNP

ya it is -8 here so I know what you mean by cold
my shop is a disaster zone I got my boats in there right now but I might be selling one of them so that will help me pay for the start of my build (frame&axle)
So what does C.S. mean???
So you going to share your idea for cupboards??

That is a good idea the sliders should be nice and light the pattern came out really good to I like the lines your build is reminding me of a Phoenix and how your rising from the ashes to make a new start

from my understanding most just leave them free hanging and the trim holds it on so they can expand in the sun without "oil caning"

Your camper is looking great! I hung my aluminum skin by the edges/trim and and it seems to have worked well on all but one piece. The curb side wall skin feels like it has a little air under it. I can push on all the other pieces and not get any give, but I must have hung that one piece a little loose. A patch of contact cement in the middle of the panel might have helped to keep it flat as I was securing it at the perimeters. What thickness aluminum did you get?

I used stainless nails for some of it, then I decided to pull out my air stapler. Everyplace that I stapled or nailed is covered in trim that's screwed on. I overlapped the sides onto the top and lapped the top over the sides. Here's a shot looking at the roadside wall from galley to the front. You can see where I tabbed the aluminum and nailed it on. I used .032 also.
