TD3, not too small, not too big, just right?

This is Atomaker reporting in from a remote location, just because I have the time to do it. In Toronto on business, but my mind is back in Oregon where the cut and sanded profiles for my third teardrop await my loving attention. My first td was a Cubby that i happened upon in a frame only build state. the original builder-to-be, Patrick, had got tent the floor on his HF trailer and had just started the wall stand-up when wife announced twins, so I picked the project up for a song (actually for $300.00). took about 5 months to finish it, and I'm so glad I started with plans from Kuffel Creek. I also got to meet my new friends Grant Whipp and his legendary salt-racer Dad, followed shortly thereafter by the incomparable KayperKay. TD2 was a 5x10 Modernistic Cub. I started it in March 2012, and towed it unfinished to the Dam Gathering in May of 2012. it was too big for us and a little heavy for the Mighty Element (also called the Assault Toaster, or GimlE, the blue dwarf).

TD3, as yet un-named, will have a similar Mod profile, but be 6 inches narrower, with vertical ends front and back (just as the Mod curve starts to reverse on itself) for better space utilization. I hope to do better on the pictures this time. Once again, the completion goal is the Dam Gathering (#20!). My wondrous best friend and bride of 38 years is in the starting blocks preparing to decorate, so I have to get moving.

Remember, life is better when you live it on Teardrop Time.

Best regards to all, Rich.
Completed? first teardrop July 2010, 4X8 Cubby.
