At the urging of other forum members, finally getting around to starting a build journal. Thanks to all for the great help so far.

Details: using a Northern Tools 5x8 trailer assembly, intend to bump wheels to 13 or 14". Have purchased both Kuffle Creek and Fredericks' manuals. And away we go...

Trailer arrived:

Platform frame built, using 1x4 poplar and pocket screws

Platform insulated and sandwiched, ready to be fiberglassed or undercoated (leaning to marine fiberglass):

Thanks everyone. Undercoating next few days and hoping to have platform attached as soon as things dry. Considering profiles, really like the rounded Modernistic Wyoming Woody (Ryan) type but need input from my better half and dog.

Undercoating just about done
