Turning a old 1980s sprite musketeer into a TD

Postby justdan » Mon Oct 21, 2013 4:24 am

Ok so iv a old caravan sat at the back if my house falling to bits , iv started stripping her ! Iv managed to salvage the cooker and water system ...
Still a lot if work to be done stripping her as time is a commodity for me :-/
I'll pop some pics up when I get home
The intention is to shorten the chassis 3-4ft , move the wheel base a little and add a finicky wee suspension unit ( just for the hell of it )
Before building the main body

I'm not convinced I'll be going for the classic TD shape maybe the shrunken caravan style. ? Lol I do a lot of mountain biking with my son so it's going to be geared towards that
Maybe a off road 4x4 theme me thinks :-)

Hi
I'm down the road. If you are interested to see what I've done just let me know. Send a pm.

I'm 10 minutes off junction 3 on the m90.

my garage is so cold I'm installing a wood burning stove this weekend.
