Here's the rear hatch frame pieces cut out. It's a 2 X 4 up top with 1/2" plywood for the ribs

All screwed and glued together.

Maybe I missed it, but where did you find that nifty water level gauge? I've looked everywhere.

Great build!

Here is the link to the gauge, I also bought the sending unit from the same place:

This weekend, the roof sheeting was started, and some of the related needs.

The awning and mounts test-installed.

The first layer of 5mm is on.

The rear hatch was squared up and ready for skinning (I skinned the inside ready to test the seal but don't have pics of that).

I also had to finish the side table storage under the kitchen area. This will house a slide in storage for two tables that will mount on each side of the trailer at the back.

That is serious lip on your hatch, no water getting in there.

Nothing photo-worthy this weekend, unless you enjoy photos of endless hours of mind-numbing sanding and epoxying (... Then you need a therapist, not a photo thread!). The body and hatch are now covered with 4 coats of CPES. I hope to have the fiberglass body filler on and sanded by the end of the week (More sanding... Woo hoo!). Then, hopefully, next weekend we'll be priming and painting.

It's been a busy weekend, but I'm getting somewhere! I hope to have the exterior finished next weekend (Sorry the previous photo didn't show up!).

Ok. So. She's a little fat! According to the scale, 1780lbs. fat! That's without 23 gallons of water, two batteries and no galley! I'm expecting a total weight around 2300lbs., which is at the top of my weight plans. At least the outside is finished!

The weather tried its best to keep me from working but I did get the lower kitchen area framed.

I'm currently completely on hold with the sleeper area as I have found a major water leak in the frame of the front window (I figured a $20 eBay window could be hit or miss). A new replacement window is on its way.

Sorry to hear of the window leak. You'll get that fixed in a jiffy. Better to find it now than after you're all done!
