Nice work! I like the carpet. Looks like you may have build a speaker box or two before this. I'm with KC - I like the profile because its different from the norm, but its also not just a plain box.

I like the carpet treatment, too. Probably going to do it on my upcoming build.

Thank you! yeah I may have built a couple, I worked in car stereo almost 10yrs.

I love how it turned out and it should add some insulation factor and something a little more comfy to rub up against in the middle of the night.

Ok so I managed to get a far amount done today.
Would have got more done but had to wait on spar varnish to dry.
So I got the roof spars cut and carpeted
Image
and installed
Image
which allowed me to get the roof on :)
Image
an inside shot. I think it turned out pretty well.
Image
I made one more goof I forgot to cut my power cord opening :?
Image
a shot of the entire trailer out in the open. That trailer to the side of it has all of my aluminum on it to keep it flat
Image
so I went and spar varnished all of the seams and screw heads.
I figured more protection couldn't hurt.
Image
Image
while i was waiting on that to dry I built some inside shelves for small things and phones, etc.
Image
And installed my power box, although the pictures makes it look crooked I will have to check that tomorrow.
Image
So I should be good to start skinning it with aluminum tomorrow. :applause:
Til later, See ya

I might just have to use the same material to cover my interior walls. I haven't given a lot of forethought to that up to today, as I've been concentrating on my frame. Very nice storage! I too, like the profile and your choice of door.

So......I didn't get as much done as I would have liked.
only got three sides skinned in aluminum before my helper A.K.A my wife had to leave.
since the top and front are all one piece I knew there was no way I could manage it myself.
I used contact cement to adhere the walls on. As you can see from the first picture I have
been boarding up all the openings every night as we have stray cats around that like to mark everything as "theirs".
Image
Image
Image
I did find that routing aluminum is NO FUN there has to be a better way to do it....I'm just not sure what that is :NC
So probably no more progress for a couple days as its calling for rain today and tomorrow
Til later, See ya

Ok so this crazy florida weather decided to cooperate with me today and only rained about 30 mins.
So I was able to get some more done.
Got the top and front A.L. on
Image
and got the door cut out routed. I have got alot of vacuuming to do after this
Image
and installed putty tape on the door
Image
and TA-DA I have a door :D
Image
also a power port
Image
I keep joking with my wife if she is gonna like camping in a pink trailer....she is not amused. LOL
Ok so if weather allows I will try to get the windows installed tomorrow but we'll see.
Til later, See ya

WOW! :o You are really moving fast on this trailer. The inside looks really good. I suspect the rug "lining" will be like wearing a sweater, insulation-wise. From the looks of how "clean" everything is, you've done work like this before!

Thank you!
Yeah I designed this trailer to be built fast I worked out all of the details over a years time.
I have done a lot of car stereo work in the past which gave me the experience with the liner and wood working.

Well I did get to spend most of yesterday working on the camper.
I only got pictures of the windows though.
I had to install them with screws they were new windows but were missing the trim ring.
I used stainless screws and my cut out was super tight so the inside actually looks really good without the trim ring.
Image
Image
Also got all of the trim cut and installed yesterday but didn't get pictures as we had freezing
weather headed in and i had to run cover the entire garden.

well I got some more done on the trailer almost finished now just a few more odd and ends.
I installed the a/c. It's not at that angle the picture was during installation.
Image
Image
I have it held in with the normal mount for the top and added a 3/4 angle aluminum piece to hold the bottom.
Image
got it out in the open to get some better pics.
Image
Image
Image
I still need to install some trim around the ac outside but I had to wait for the silicone to dry.
I started installing my graphics and mounted my tongue box still need to do the other side
and decide if i want to do some front graphics.
Image
Oh and I got my solar motion light mounted that's what you see right in front of the door at the top.
I should have it all buttoned up tomorrow which is good since it's first trip will be next week.
