Airstream "Ambi"

Postby prohandyman » Thu Jan 22, 2015 4:32 pm

Ok...let's see how many Airstream enthusiast I can annoy with this idea...I found an Airstream with a tree down thru the middle of it. Thinking about making this out of it.. Frame has to be modified, obvious body mods, etc.
Definitely a TTT!!

Do it. I saw that poor AS and that was the only thing I could think of doing with it. But man, it's a lot of work, but would be very cool.

The one in the pic is sooo CUTE! You must do this. The alternative is the scrapyard, isn't it?
I'll burn that bridge when I come to it.

Seems that "do it" is the general consensus. So... Are you?

Alright sounds like a consensus...problem is the owner still thinks it's "like new" camper with his asking price. And I will have to remove the tree!

And he's probably already collected the insurance. Problem is, the longer that tree is there, the more problems it will cause if it's open to the elements... :frightened:
