I spend my childhood vacationing with my family in an RV that my Grandpa built. It was a army bus conversion that he painted a shiny silver/gray and somehow it got the nickname "Gray Goose". In honor of my awesome grandpa and the wonderful memories made in the Gray Goose I am naming my trailer build the Gray Goose Egg. I'm using a 4x5 utility trailer that we inherited and building an camping trailer on top. The back will be a galley kitchen and the front half will have a couple compartments for hauling our camping gear. I'm trying to do this cheap and quick, so chances are good that it won't be very pretty. I started today by removing the plywood floor, the motorcycle ramp, and the extra metal tie down rod. Replaced the floor with 3/4" pressure treated plywood. Also, I did a lot of standing around, thinking, figuring, scratching my head, measuring, and planning for the next step. I can't get my pictures to load right now.
