Shortened Kenskill with a hint of Kit

I started a new teardrop trailer to fill in some time, this is an exercise in riveting, I believe I'm at 1500+ rivets give or take a few.
The design is taken from the Design Resources Kenskill plans, shortened down to 8' with the Kit teardrop color panels riveted in, all the panels are riveted together as you would find on a Modernistic/Cub.
I'm still working on how I'll do the fenders, I'm going to try and make a pair that looks like the original Kenskill/Modernistic fenders. Wish me luck.
To date, I'm really happy the way it's turning out.

Your work with rivets is really cool. Like in a modernistic movie, has a lot of character and did I mention a WOW factor? I am sure it was a lot of work.
Do you plan on good insulation to eliminate condensation inside?

Love the "Riveted" look, gives it a real nostalgia persona. Helped my buddy set a few rivet's building his airplane so I know its time consuming tedious work to get each one set as it should be............Nice job!

Your teardrop looks like it was built in the 1930's by a craftsman and it's not even finished.
This blows a friend's statement that organics (woodworkers) can't do metal work.

While we are all striving for quality builds and build techniques it's not often you see a picture perfect reproduction.

Thanks everyone for the wonderful comments, I'm just happy I can share the process with you, and hope someone will find a few good ideas in this post that they can apply to their own trailer.
I stopped in for lunch, I'm out trying to beat an aluminum panel into a fender, I'll post a pic if it works out.

This is an absolutely awesome project. I built an all aluminum airplane in my garage with 11,000 rivets. I can certainly appreciate the craftsmanship in your trailer. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to more photos and details.

11,000 rivets, my arm just fell off thinking about it. I know I had to take a day away from riveting, because my bucking arm was so sore.
Well I spent all day whacking that aluminum panel into a fender, I must say I'm pleased with the results. It's amazing what you can do with a stump, and a mallet made out of a baseball bat. Thank you, Youtube
Now the hard part, making another fender to match
