The birth of my project from the last year of building.
She is a removable pod for hunting and camping with the family, still in the process of making stands for it when it is off the trailer and still have a lot of cosmetic work to Finnish but I have had it out twice now and she is everything I wanted.

The pod slides forward and rests on a bracket at the front of the trailer so the door is in the cutout of the trailer sides

When the pod is not on the trailer the side swings back up and locks in place. It can be left on or taken off when I have the pod on and just swings down out of the way when the pods in use.

The start.
Rough plan on design and size. I went through many shapes and sizes before deciding on this one. I really love the tear drop shape but wanted to be able to have roof racks for Kyaks and the like that wouldn't interfere with the galley door.

Then came the cutting and welding of the basic shape. My welding skills improved with each weld lol.

I then gave it all a good clean and painted with a high galv undercoat to protect the steel.
