My first build!

Hey there! I am currently working on my first build. I hope to have it done by early may. Here are the pictures i have so far!

Start Date: 3/28/16
(The frame was actually made in the summer/fall of 2014 and then touched up on 3/28/16.)

This design is simpler than the curved TD's. That's why i chose this for my first build. Something that looks cool and will get me up off the ground! I also am attending the meet up in Lincoln State park in may so i needed something i could build fast. One day in a few years i'll build another and i'll put more time and money to make what i would see as the perfect teardrop for me and my preferences. Gotta start somewhere! In reality I believe The rounded roof TD is easier to build. The rounded roof does not have the angled seams so seal. Just thin plywood, a pair of ratchet straps , Pull the plywood down over the wall with glue, add a few furring strip support beams (place to hang things)to the inside and the roof is done. The curved roof is almost self supporting.

It may be! I've never built one so i am just going by what i've seen and what i've done... The next one i build will be the curved TD. I will put more time and money into to make it the way i want it to be after i get a few years out of this one.
