So here's my super low budget, super simple, low weight teardrop camper that is capable of hauling my track tires, tools, etc for three day track events. I'm going really really simple with no galley area. 7/16" plywood floor and side walls, 2x2 stringers to connect the side walls, and Ox Engineering Red Thermo-Ply sheathing for the roof. I'll have one side door, a rear hatch. The hatch will probably just use a prop rod as it will only be opened to load/unload twice a weekend. Still debating adding a window a/c unit into the front, what to do about windows, and a general shape. Anyway! Here are some pics of today's progress, tore the trailer all the way apart, sanded and repainted. Pics are in reverse-chronological order, whoops!
