I've been working on CNC files based on last summer's build. Here's a great way to wear out a perfectly good pen while test driving a file:

The files are limited to the skeleton pieces, exterior skins, hatch ends, galley lip, and roof blocking.

As of right now, I'm planning on making these files available on my author website. We'll see how that goes.

I was planning to make them available here but this forum doesn't allow SVG files to be uploaded. (SVG is a common CNC file. Moderator???)

I've attached a PDF instruction sheet for cutting purposes.

 Having some fun with my Lowrider2 CNC.

Really cool!
Didn't know you could do test runs with marker! But it makes sense.
Do you have any trouble exporting SKP to SVG?

I use the Flight-of-Ideas Sketchup SVG extension. It works well. A couple of clicks and the file gets exported.

I'm sure you've got it covered with your website, but I can host them as well, if you'd like.

Thanks. I'll take a gander at what I can do with my existing site.

Moderators don't get on here very often any more. Maybe send a PM to mikeschn?

Nice!

We might just have to upgrade our cave and add a CNC machine someday!

Thanks a bunch... it's done.

There have been a few teardrops built and featered here using CNCs and having a special thread section would be a good thing.

Good cache. I just gave it a try and uploaded one. I'd still like to keep these as SVGs. We'll see what the moderators think.
