Was able to get the rear galley drawer faces on today Image
Need to adjust the drawers a bit, (not my forte) lol. Image

And put the outer skin on the hatch and used mock hinges to check fitment. Opens and closes great, I think I hugged the hatch before I opened it and said nice things to it!

So a little TLC for the hatch worked. :applause: those hugs and kind words to that hatch did come in handy

Not much to post as we’ve been tinkering with little things like wiring the trailer up again, running water lines, labeling the electrical, etc. I’m waiting on the solar cables to install the right side roof panels, which should be in this week. I started installing the left side and all went well. Until, the curve. I knew better and should’ve kerfed the bottom side but was over excited (good way of saying stupidly dumb). I think I’ll get some of that fiber stranded bondo to build up the curve before the final aluminum skin goes on. I can build it up (need 3/8 of an inch in one spot). Doesn’t seem to need structure under there, just to keep the curve asthetic. The curve is fine on the outside perimeter, but in the center section it’s a bit flat. This is the outside profile between the two spars that it’s suppose to be.Image

Sorry, but from the picture, can't tell what curve this is. Maybe a couple more pics from a little distance.
Or better description might help.

That’s as good as the hump gets. It’ll get covered in aluminum. Plus I ran out of bondo.

Looking great.
I really like the proportions you have there, reminds me of a lowered customized old hotrod like an early 50's Buick Roadmaster.
Low and wide 8)
I'll be done when I'm finished, if that's not fast enough, take a number.

85 percent done with the tongue box. Not sure what to do for the hinge yet. Waiting on a few more parts and fill some gaps. Just need to put some finishing touches on it.

Made some progress over the last few days. Image
Ended up using the rubber cement method, but it didn’t quite stick everywhere. Figure half float have stick, either one is right or both are wrong. Image
Image
Installed the door to hold aluminum in place to finish cutting the profile. Image
I wanted a roll of ally for the roof, which I can find that is 103 inches wide and (x) amount of dollars per foot. Found a cheaper place in Chicago, but shipping was about as much as the product. And yes, .040 too. So I decided to go the cheaper route and lay panels across each other. Image
This was Sunday evening. Got hatch skinned and trimmed, the hurricane hinge on. Next I was on to the tongue box ally cladding Image
Tongue box on and nearly complete. Just have to finish the curvy trim pieces. Need to mill about an 1/8 off the lip. Then I can install. Just wanted to get the box on and start running the electrical. Waiting on Amazon to show up with more parts. Image
Here’s a good look at the rear. I need to make some sort of spacer for the underside of the hatch and skin it. It looks unfinished. I normally wouldn’t worry about it, but it looks god awful and when the hatch is up, everyone will see it. Including me!

It's looking great.
For the rear are you just planning some type of roll pan like a pick up w/o a bumper?
