Benroy Teardrop Trailer - $950 (HORNICK, IA)

In looking at it, I think it's a later edition made by the King Richards trailer service? Who knows but it's different from most of the Benroy's I've seen. Note, the square cornered windows and the ribbed siding.

Looks to be mostly there.

*edit*
Not sure why I typed "Fitzpatrick" earlier. Edited to remove that goof. Fitzpatrick was the name of the company that Bennet worked for when he made the first prototype in 53, as documented here:
http://outbackteardrop.com/benroy.html That's what happens when you get old and only retain 1 out of every 10 words you read.

Rumor has it - the new buyer for this one is headed to pick it up this weekend.

I'd like to think that I had some sort of hand in bringing the buyer and seller together. ;) (I kid... I kid...)

I hope to learn more from the buyer once he/she gets it home.

The new owner was kind enough to send me an e-mail/pm to let me know he picked up his new pride and joy. It is safe and sound at it's new home.

Congratulations M.J!

You certainly did, Ted! Many thanks for your patience and kind advice.
It is indeed a '59 King Richard's, and close to 100% complete! I'll post a few pics in another thread soon. This "king" is going to get the royal treatment.
