Actually the ad says it is 11'6" long by 6'2" wide (although it sure doesn't look like it in the picture, does it?). So, let's see, that is $2600 per linear foot or $434 per square foot. This must be the Hinckley of teardrops, or they think extremely highly of themselves.

This TD popped here on another thread. It looks like they used the highest quality materials like maple trim and Tiger stripe matched veneers to boost the price.

Like if I installed custom kitchen cabinets and thick granite counter tops in the kitchen of my 100,000 house and expected somehow to recoup the cost, just not going to happen.

Others commented on the workman ship of the joints. This is from their site

Looks like their miters aren't tight and even if they were as you went down the road the bumps would open them up. I hope they sealed the ends of the trim because just a few years of rain will seep under their I'm assuming Marine vanish and ruin the finish.

The 6'2" is more than likely the fender to fender measurement.

I think you're right, and the 11'6" is probably overall including the tongue. Which makes the trailer itself even pricier per linear foot. They're just plain crazy. I was going to order my husband a briefcase from them for Christmas, but then I saw this teardrop (a few weeks back) and I thought, if this is how overpriced their stuff is, forget it.
