That's not a bad price but with it being in Phoenix, it's most likely already sold. There is a lot of TDer's in Phoenix. Maybe Eddie would go check it out.

He/she may be trying to date the trailer by the wheels.
If you know the size, you can date the wheels to a specific year.
...nothing says they haven't been changed...

It looks a lot like a late 40's Kenskill to me, with 1935 Ford wire wheels. When I sold my 1947 Modernaire it also had 1935 Ford wire wheels on it. I believe that 1935 Ford wires were the only ones that came in a 16" size, earlier ones were 17, 19 or 21". I had the oldest known registered teardrop for a few years. It was a 1936 homebuilt originally registered in California in 1936. There may be older ones but I have never seen or heard of one that had the original documented date.

Jerome, you are correct.
1928-1929 used 21" wheels.
1930-1931 used 19" wheels.
1932 used 18" wheels.
1933 and 1934 used 17" wheels.
1935 used 16" wheels.
1936 on up were not wire wheels.

Does anybody have a pic of this trailer? I got a lead on it for a possible sale/trade, but haven't seen a picture yet and am an anxious nancy!
