Check Craigslist for Little Rock Arkansas. A really good looking 1941 Grumman Teardrop for sale for $8500. Listed on Nov. 27 and is actually in North Little Rock(across the river from Little Rock) I don't know if its sold or not but it is still listed as of this "For Sale(not mine)" A phone number is listed. Says "call Ace @ 501-516-0924. I live about 25 miles from the location and for someone that in interested I could go look for you after you have reached him and could maybe check out whatever is a subject of concern to you but I would only do this for a very serious buyer that was pending a sale and not for someones curiosity.

I see a lot of similarity to our 46 Modernistic. Wonder if that's where Modernistic got their idea for the design. I think the price is a little high, or we didn't pay enough!

He's just another person that thinks he has a gold mine in his back yard. From what I can see you’re going to have to put about $2000 into it, restoring it. His asking price is way too high. If it is truly a 1941 Grumman and he has backup paper work, it may be worth about $2000 max as it sits.

That's only my opinion. ;)
