Only 1000 lb, it is light weight. Windy might be rough in a small car. That is a lot of sail space to catch wind. No problem for a mid to full size car or truck. Would probably look good behind a mini van.
Looks nicely built, but $8k is too much in my opinion. At that price you can get many of the manufactured ones, though probably not a standy and not metal framed fiberglassed. At that price, there are plenty of decked out used ones.
