I had thought of a raiseable tank that after it's filled using a hand or elec pump would then be a normal gravity system.
And if that tank gets rancid or broke, it's very easily replaceable.
Pipes under the trailer is a really great idea and holds the weight at or possibly below the axles. Since my trailer will be towed behind a bike the smaller tanks minimizes the slosh factor.

IF it were me I'd be looking at initial cost, replacement ease, simple near unbreakable design, EZ cleaning, parts found anywhere. NO rubber parts to replace, all metal to metal seal.

Drain directly to holding tank using no trap.
IF i remember it's about 3 inches from lowest connection to finish surface. Problem there is tightening the 1-1/2" nut.
No problem if the drain pipe goes into the side of the tank.
ALWAYS trade-offs.

MAYBE this kitchen drain?

That is an idea! I'd have to open each time I took a shower, but that would stop anything from bubbling up when not in use.

I added some new info in the original post.

Problem with a P-TRAP is while traveling the water in the trap sloshes around and usually down thereby loosing that seal.

When and where will a check valve be needed? My build will have both a tank with 12v pump and hook up for pressurized camp ground water. Will I needed a check valve on both systems or just on the 12v pump side to keep the pressurized water from back-flowing into the pump and tank?

There is a check valve built into most pumps and inlet devices. The links below are examples that state that they have built in check valves. Just make sure the pressurized water is hooked into the system on the output side of the pump.
