You need a fan with this. I used mine in my tear and the rising heat warmed the ceiling up uncomfortably warm. A small fan redistributes the heat better. Also this is really overkill for a teardrop. It warms it up fast on low so you are back up in a few min to kill the heat. I had better luck with a small ceramic heater with a thermostat so I didn't have to keep getting up to turn it on and off. These are good little heaters for lil old standies though.
