That would work .... :thumbsup: Over wood , it’s probably not the thickness of the canvas , but more just a fabric coating/skin to further protect the wood (as used on an Old School Canoe ) ... Had I covered the roof of my first wooden teardrop with anything , I’d probably still have it ... as it was, the painted wood alone on the roof (bent plywood) soon split and checked , requiring much maintenance ... :thumbdown:

Yea, I keep talking to my paint salesman friend and he said no matter how good the paint is, and the undercoating, the big issue is the joints, they flex and break the seal of the coating. The fabric will prevent this. The same idea applies to roof coatings like snow roof.

90". My sidewalls are 6' or so from skirt to top. The coupon was for a single item, and it came in 10 yard bolts so I bought one bolt today, and have to go back in disguise to get the other 5 yards;)

I used painters drop cloth canvas. Worked fine. Had a few imperfections that I had to cut out and fill, but not too bad.
