Burlap is pretty
STRONG material ( try tearing a piece by hand ) , it is an open weave so it should be easy to attach to foam and “size” .. Nice rougher texture would be really nice once primed and painted ( effectively covering a lot of sins ) and perhaps a bit more aerodynamic too ( the Golf ball effect ) ... The Navy did some studies , found Porpoise skin was less draggy than a smooth surface ( little bumps , not smooth ) ... Crumbs for thought ???
and it’s $1.99 a yard ( colors too ) ... I couldn’t even beat that with Hancocks going out of business...
