Man, I wish I had used the filler on my trailer! Any all those loose threads from the cut edges of the canvas are annoying. I gave up on them, hence the need for the filler I did not use.

Great job on your canvasing!

Well Marks foamie is nice in person as well! We dropped by Monday and met Mark and saw his trailer and was very impressed with his build! Keep it up Mark and you'll be camping in it soon!

Cliff & Sheri
In God we trust, shoot the rest and he will sort out!

4//11/13 - Eleven months later - back to work

Postby millstone » Thu Apr 11, 2013 8:48 pm

Well, a lot has changed. Divorce, two moves, and now that that's all behind me, it's time to finish this thing.

First thing I gad to do was get it to my new home, 35 miles away from my old one.

Now I'm guilty of breaking about a half dozen laws on the trip.

But foamie is homie, and now it's back to construction.

Side door needs re-hanging. It got tweaked when the camper was moved onto the trailer frame.

Hatch supports, batteries, fenders, and a trip to the tax office, and I'm camping!

Auld lang syne, Mark

Yeah. Looks a little awkward behind the truck. It was supposed to be pulled by a mini cooper. Rocking a jetta now with a Reese hitch so it'll sit better behind it.

Funny , the little tires make the trailer part look so much BIGGER ... :o That’s a great way to get a bigger trailer , just make the tires smaller ... 8)

Mark, taking a page out of your book , I was thinking if we went with slightly smaller tires on the FoamStream , we wouldn’t need any "wheel wells" at all on the cabin ... and I can use regular metal trailer fenders too ... (more floor space inside ) 8) Thanks !!!!

Now all I have to do is install the fenders w/o burning up the camper, and keep them away from the door.

I know you said that with your tongue firmly in your cheek, but it is pretty cool that these trailers are light enough that they can roll on 8" wheels. IIRC, the load rating on them is typically around 7-800 lbs.
