A newbie and a standie

Good heavens, I'm in trouble! A bag of chips isn't enough for me :-)

Work has started! Picked up my trailer and a big load of foam yesterday. Yesterday afternoon cut the sides and floor pieces and joined them!

Trying to figure out if I should keep the gate/ramp or not... Might be nice after a day of snowboarding to have an accessible trailer :-)

Headed back over to my workspace (actually a friend's driveway). Did I mention I live in an apartment and have an hour commute to my project On the plus side, can't complain about this view for breakfast!

Pretty amazing to build a shell of something in 15 hours :-) So pretty much in awe of you fine folks who have mastered this and shared your wisdom!
On a side note, should have worn gloves..

Sorta’ like Instant gratification !!! Best part is , once the shell is done , the rest is just finishing ... A little sanding and shaping , skinning , painting , decorating .... all Fun stuff ...

Ps. sorry we didn’t mention the gloves ... especially with GG or GS ... TB2 comes off pretty quickly ...

I was so very good gluing last Tuesday night. I had gloves and everything and I got away clean! Then I went back out an hour later to scrape up the GG ooze. I wore gloves again! I was so good. I do not know at all how I got a fine coating on the entire underside of my left forearm. (you know the whole pale area?) It's a week later almost and I only look like I forgot to cleanup for dinner a bit.

I knew to wear gloves but it was 90 degrees. Thought about soaking the hands in acetone for 10 minutes and decided to just deal with it.. I keep finding new arm and leg hairs stuck tight together too. Ah well totally worth it.

Is it normal to use 5 gallons of glue skinning this thing?

I used 2 thinned with water, I put it on with a 4 inch roller, I am on my third gallon to canvas all my shelves and inside.
It is looking good!
