Foamie hybrid FRP-Canvas no wood?

Well if I was out there, the passing cars/trucks would really fly by at 25 mph more then me. That sure would be fun; not. But wait, it seems that on our highways here in the East, they are doing that now.

super HD HF trailer, good 12" tires off my pontoon trailer with 30psi (to keep from wearing the middle out on the tires,4000 miles and a 800 pound TD no problems.

Seems a bit spendy to me, but hey it is stainless. Like the hatch hasp and the door hinges would probably be fine. Door handles a bit iffy. Too easy to get yourself locked into your fomie. Someone push that handle in while your inside and your locked.

I have an idea - lets make our teardrop out of cement; build a form and just pour the cement in and done !!

How many times have we read in the TD forum (the wood guys) about ROT and how to prevent it , which doesn’t usually work that well ... Visiting the local RV center , ALL the units being repaired had ROT from roof leaks ... Even big buck coaches ... Didn’t see any Foamies in for repair .... and we likely won’t !!!
Simple Logic... with nothing to Rot , there won’t be any ...

Is that FRP, or did you change to another material. I looked at your photo, and couldn't see any seams. So it's not 4x8 material, right? What is it?

Yes it is 4x8 FRP from Menard. The seam is in line with the front of the door.

Just a update. I weighted it today at a truck stop.Too light for a ticket but the lady said it is 640# That is for a 5x9 with a 8"memory foam mattress. Probable 600# without ! Over 4000 miles and the only problem was the galley counter fell down with the weight of the cooler on it.
